Treatments
At Physio Rehab Centre, we treat individuals, not just injuries – everyone in our care has a program designed to meet their needs, their body, their movement and their life. We use cutting-edge, ground-breaking evidence based techniques and results-oriented exercises. Our treatments are hands-on, one-on-one, and specialised in order to ensure the best outcome for each individual client. We are a unique practice and take pride in everything we do.
We strongly believe each individual deserves the “Physio Rehab Experience,” beginning with our top-notch customer service at the front desk to the skilled practitioners who guide you through individualised programs that bring results.
During our comprehensive patient evaluation, we assess joint motion and stability, muscle strength and flexibility, muscular endurance and the ability to perform activities of daily living. Experts in movement and function, we not only focus on treating injuries, but also on preventing them.
We are passionate about fixing joint pain. We fix joint pain regardless of whether it is located in the top of the neck or the bottom of the toe. We assess your joints and look for how they move, how they function, how well you control them and how we can enhance their function. Joint pain can come from a huge variety of reasons, some are obvious such as stiffness and tightness and some need a thorough and detailed eye to identify them.
Our treatments are very effective at relieving stiff joints. In the majority of cases rapid results can be achieved and however more complex cases do arise, especially if the joint stiffness has been long standing and this may take a little more time to resolve. Common locations of joint stiffness are seen in the shoulder and elbow, the neck, mid back and low back and the hips, knee and ankles.
Our Podiatrists specialise in the diagnosis, management and prevention of foot and lower limb injuries and disorders. These conditions range from arch pain, heel pain and shin splints through to anterior knee pain and lower back pain.
Our experienced podiatrists use cutting edge tools, such as foot gait analysis to provide an in-depth understanding of the biomechanical factors contributing to any specific injury.
Podiatric treatments focus on improving the function of the lower limb and reducing an excessive load on injured areas through stretching, strengthening, footwear advice, training advice and the use of foot orthotics.
We specialise in the delivery of exercise, lifestyle and behavioural modification programs for the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries.
Our AEPs provide physical activity and behaviour change support for clients with conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, depression, cancer, arthritis, COPD and many more.
Knowledge of the latest and current evidence based research in the form of exercise prescription, nutritional programming, and behaviour modification are implemented within our centre to provide you with quality, effective and professional training solutions.
